The Cornerstone Foundation

The Cornerstone Foundation in Vernon, CT is a nonprofit, faith-based organization with the mission of keeping people Safe, Fed, Housed, and Clothed. In operation for over 40 years and funded entirely through donations and grants, we operate three shelters for the homeless, a community Kitchen, Food Bank, Clothing Bank, and Diaper Bank, as well as several outreach services in the community. While caring for those facing the most urgent challenges, we're also working to prevent crises before they begin - helping individuals and families move from survival to stability.
