Skungamaug River Golf Club is beautifully conditioned, old time, traditional golf facility in Coventry, Connecticut. It is a shortish, challenging, sporty course that will require you to play every club in your bag.
Our 18-hole facility features 5,785 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 69.4 and it has a slope rating of 123. The original 9 holes, designed by Chet Jenkins, opened in 1965. The second nine, designed by John Motycka, opened in 1981.
Skungamaug River offers a complete golfing experience where our staff will make you feel welcome in the clubhouse, on the course, or on our grass tee practice range. Our practice facility includes a putting green, practice sand bunker, and separate lesson tee for instruction by PGA Professional, Rick Nelson.
