Off The Ground Sound operates out of Central Connecticut conveniently located less than 1 minute off of I-84 just 10 minutes outside of Hartford, between Boston & NYC. Since 2011 OTG Sound has served CT, MA, NY and RI with our acclaimed Rental & Production services. We are glad to now serve an ever growing audience via our Online Store, we offer appointments virtual or in person and site visits to ensure that our clients receive the best solution for their specific needs.

Founder Shaun Anderson discovered his passion for music when he began recording with friends in 1998. After High School he Joined the US Navy and discovered an aptitude for Event Planning. Shaun became the Senior Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR) rep on the USS Ford and began planning, tours and events for his shipmates to celebrate numerous Holidays & Military Balls. Including ticket sales, security, vendor management and execution. A role that he continued at his next Command The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

When speaking to Shaun it is evident that he has a passion for events and describes his purpose in life as wanting provide a conduit for people to celebrate their lives and enhance their businesses. As a civilian Shaun honed his skills managing a recording studio recording nearly 1,000 tracks and as the Pro-audio department at Guitar Center from 2007- 2015 and later Store Manager at ATC Audio from 2016 - 2018.

Shaun has turned his passion into a business. OTG Sound works to enhance our community by supplying outstanding AV solutions. When it comes to Weddings, Holiday Parties, Block Parties, Parades, Street Festivals, Corporate Events or just a quick rental. Shaun and the crew at OTG Sound have got the equipment and experience to make your event a success.
